Exhilarating experience, but Disappointing, as I didn't catch any fish.

    Tropical Winds

The trip was fun. The deck hands don’t really help; only help get the fish off the hook. Our boat had about 30 people and everyone caught a bunch of fish. The only thing about it was all the fish were really tiny compared to the other fish from other boats at the harbor. This trip was shorter and less expensive than others.

    Overall good

Tough weather day - I know that can’t be controlled but definitely affects the experience.

    Not many fish...

Although the seas were rough and many passengers got sick, we made good time and were able to fish about 4 hours of an 8 hour trip. Unfortunately the captain brought us to many dead fishing spots - 3 or 4 times we dropped our line and NOBODY of 30+ caught anything at these spots. Although it is red snapper season, only ONE snapper of considerable size was caught I don't feel the captain did a good enough job ensuring we did good on our investment. It's hard to understand why we fished spots where few to no fish were. Only the last 2 spots yielded a decent catch but most of them were small vermillion and white snapper. The crew did a great job keeping us untangled and fishing as best we could.

    Ok

Captain was a grump. A man was standing in front of restroom and he yelled excuse me and then called the guy an idiot as he walked away. My father, who is 72, slipped while exiting the boat and fell. Just not safe. No regard for customers.

    Ok

Too many people on the boat. Tangled a lot after carefully following the directions of the crew. Was not thrilled with my total catch. I like the snapper rules of the boat, ie, boat limit and not per person limit unless all fishing persons catch their two snappers.

Thanks for booking with us and for sharing your experience! Red snapper season definitely is a favorite for anglers, so we do see the party boats at full capacity. I assure you, however, that the number of people on board is actually below the boat's limit. While the crew definitely works hard to make sure lines are untangled, sometimes the conditions just make them work a bit harder to ensure everyone has a good time. Next time you might want to consider a private charter OR the same company offers a semi-private trip which limits the number of people to 15 so there is a lot more elbow room. I hope that you enjoyed your visit and that we see you next time! TripShock! Guest Service Manager

    Ok experience

This is the second time we go with this company. We have a great time the first time we go eventhough we have to go through stormy sea. This time the sea is calm but we encounter dolphins that took our fish at lease twice. So the fishing is not so great but do catch a few small one. But two things ruin our fishing trip, first we were assign fishing spot where it did not happen the first time and most of all, we are missing fishes. I believe our fish went to someone else. My wife recalled the last few we caught, they took it without asking our number. So it end up going to someone else. The biggest thing is I hope they can improve is to make sure the fish go to the right party, especially when fishing is slow. That is why I only give a 3 star.

    Had a blast

The crew was helpful but a little inappropriate and rude at the end to the cook that was preparing our fish.
