    Not Worth It

We had a party of four trying to use the hop on hop off bus experience in New Orleans. We found that the buses were never on schedule ...very spotty ...very shoddy...and the tour guides and their ability and knowledge was absolutely not worth the price we paid for the three day pass. We even had the tour guide give us miss information that the tour bus driver thankfully corrected for us. This is an activity that we will not recommend or purchase ourselves again.

Hi Kimberly, thank you for Hopping-On. The issues you described are not at all typical of our professional tour service. With 3 days unlimited sightseeing, multiple guides to learn from, and 2 FREE guided walking tours (French Quarter & Garden District)—our guests typically enjoy great value with our tour service. Our apologies for the delays you encountered. Though we typically maintain 30-minute intervals between all 19 stops on our route, construction, road closures, or various city events can sometimes create temporary difficulties. Regardless, your satisfaction is our priority. Please contact us directly at [email protected] so that we can do our best to remedy your experience.

Great way to see the city!

This was our first time ever to be in New Orleans! The hop-on hop-off tour not only provided transportation around the city, but the bus narrators provided a wealth of information about things we never knew. We got the 3-day pass which also included a free narrated walking tour of the French quarter and the Garden District with a guide. Our tour guide was wonderful and really knew her stuff!

    Unsatisfied

While I understand the unexpected building collapse created detours I was quite disappointed in this excursion. The route took us past the same buildings, the tour guide seemed flustered and unable to provide the level of service I’ve heard about on this tour. Several customers on the top level kept standing up blocking the view and were never told to please remain seated and because of the different route we had to duck several times to avoid being hit by branches. We had a group of seven, a couple with medical issues that avoids walking so we were hoping this tour could provide an alternative to allow us to see this beautiful city.
