Tujague's is the second oldest restaurant in New Orleans. The establishment is located in the heart of the French Quarter by the French Market on Decatur. Specializing in traditional New Orleans cuisine, Tujague's is famous for its boiled beef brisket, an item that has been on the menu since 1856. The restaurant also plays host to the oldest remaining stand-up bar in America. If you want a quintessential New Orleans experience filled with history, Tujague's is your place.

Restrictions

  • Travelers with food allergies or sensitivities are encouraged to call the restaurant before booking to ensure their dietary needs can be met.
  • Rates do not apply to Special Event or Holiday Dinners, these dates will appear closed but are available directly through Tujacque's.

Additional information

  • Tujacque's Restaurant is open seven days a week. Lunch is served between 11:00 am – 2:30 pm. Dinner is served between 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

Cancellation policy

Customers are asked to cancel their reservations by phoning the restaurant at least 24 hours prior to their arrival. Changes can be made any time prior to the 24 hour period. Customers that cancel their reservations can receive a full refund minus a $5 service fee. No shows will be charged the full amount of their order. Your booking is not guaranteed until you call the restaurant at (504) 525-8676.

    Good

    A lovely old world characterful restaurant. Pleasant staff, traditional food, although main course somewhat too salty for my taste. An accident with red wine by the waiter did not spoil the meal.
