What is a Science Center?

A science center is a museum that encourages people to experience a hands-on approach to experiment and explore; and offers interactive exhibits to do as such. Science Centers are devoted to mainly science.

What can you find in a science center?
You can find a majority of static displays, but many exhibits are hands on and more technological have moved from the older ‘museology’ trend of having only displays and a do not touch policy. Among this are the collections of artifacts, including animal and human “rarities” in a display similar to their original settings. Majority of centers also offer a planetarium, showing an emulated version of the solar system and stars.
